Building Businesses.
Connecting People.
Creating Impact.

I’m Imran Abul Kashem, a serial entrepreneur, personal branding strategist, photographer, investor, author and community builder based in Melbourne, Australia.

Over the past decade, I’ve built more than businesses. I’ve built communities, partnerships and platforms that help people and organisations grow. My work sits at the intersection of entrepreneurship, branding, visual storytelling and business networking.

Today, I’m the founder of Westend Business Hub, Westend Photography, Westend Digital, and Westend Podcast, and the co-founder of  No Wukkas Agency, Ripple Australia, and BizCon Events. I also founded Wyndham Entrepreneur Connect (WE Connect), a business networking initiative that brings together entrepreneurs, professionals and community leaders across Melbourne’s west.

I help individuals, businesses and organisations become more visible, more credible and more influential.

Whether I’m photographing a CEO, launching a new business initiative, facilitating a workshop, speaking or hosting a networking event, my focus is the same: helping people communicate their value with confidence and authenticity.

my story

My career began as a journalist in Bangladesh, where I discovered the power of storytelling. After migrating to Australia in 2008, I started again from scratch, learning a new market, building new relationships and creating new opportunities.

In 2013, I founded Westend Photography from a garage with a simple vision: help people tell their stories through powerful images.

That single business became the foundation for a broader mission. As I worked with thousands of business owners, I realised they needed more than great photographs. They needed strategy, visibility, trusted connections and a supportive business community.

That insight led to the creation of multiple businesses and initiatives designed to support entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey.

I believe that your reputation is shaped not only by what you know, but also by who you serve, who you collaborate with and the impact you create.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, government agencies, community organisations, educational institutions and not-for-profit organisations across Australia.

I’ve proudly contributed to initiatives with organisations including:

These relationships have allowed me to build trust, contribute to meaningful projects and support the growth of Melbourne’s business community.

Learning has always been one of my greatest passions.

I regularly facilitate workshops, speak at business events, mentor entrepreneurs and share practical insights on personal branding, networking, business growth, marketing and entrepreneurship.I believe knowledge becomes valuable only when it is shared.

Alongside my commercial work, I remain deeply passionate about documentary photography. My photography books, including Green Wedge, Same / Different and Rain, Umbrella and Japan, explore migration, identity, culture and the changing landscape of Australian communities. These projects have been featured through exhibitions, media interviews and community programs, reflecting my commitment to preserving stories that matter.

Highlights and awards

Over the years I have been honoured to contribute through business leadership, education, mentoring and volunteer initiatives.

Business is about people.
Photography is about people.
Branding is about people.
Networking is about people.

Everything I build begins with relationships. When people trust you, opportunities follow. When you invest in others, communities grow. When communities grow, businesses thrive. That’s the principle that guides every business I own, every partnership I build and every project I undertake.

My vision is to continue building businesses that create opportunities, strengthen communities and help people become recognised for the value they bring.

Whether through photography, branding, coworking, digital marketing, podcasting or business education, my mission remains simple:

To help people build a reputation that opens doors, creates opportunities and leaves a lasting impact.
